The Islamic State of Iraq and Syria is now offering sex slaves to the winners of a Koran memorization contest in Syria.

The contest is taking place during the month of Ramadan, and is meant to honor the holiest month in the Muslim calendar. The memorization of the Koran is something encouraged and practiced throughout the global Muslim community

According to the Clarion Project, Ramadan is a time for Muslims to proclaim their faith and also is the favored month to participate in Jihad.

However, the disgusting practicing of hosting a contest in which winners are awarded female sex slaves is unique to ISIS.

“By showcasing its slavery, ISIS is boasting that it practices Islam in its most literal interpretation, doesn’t capitulate to public opinion and rejects modern interpretations,” Ryan Mauro, a security analyst for the Clarion Project, told Fox News. “It is also showing it has a functional Islamic educational system and therefore is a real caliphate.”

The ISIS contest centers around the memorization of four suras (chapters) in the Koran, all of which contain numerous references to violence, including, “Fight them; Allah will punish them by your hands and will disgrace them and give you victory over them and satisfy the breasts of a believing people.”

The competition will take place at four separate mosques in Syria, with the top three contestants being given a sex slave. Places four through ten will be awarded prizes in the Syrian currency. The Clarion Project has translated the flyer detailing the contest that was posted throughout Syria by ISIS.
