After he stabbed a man in a bar on Christmas Day last year, Dustin Diamond — who played “Screech” on “Saved by the Bell” — was sentenced to jail time on Thursday.
Diamond, 38, was sentenced to 120 days in jail and 15 months of probation. He cannot return to the bar or contact the victim, and he must pay the victim $1,105 in damages.
Diamond and his fiancee were in a Milwaukee bar on Christmas when he began arguing with other patrons who were taking pictures of them. He said he “accidentally” stabbed one with a switchblade. (RELATED: ‘Saved By The Bell’s’ Screech Is Going To Trial For Stabbing)
