Florida State University football coach Jimbo Fisher has indefinitely suspended freshman quarterback De’Andre Johnson following a bar altercation earlier in the week.
According to ESPN, Johnson punched an FSU female student in the face after she cut him in line while waiting for drinks at the bar. Witnesses claim the female student “raised her arms and then Johnson grabbed them” and socked her right in the kisser.
Despite the multitude of witnesses at the bar, Johnson has not yet been charged with any crimes, and — to be honest — I could kind of see him getting off with just a slap on the wrist for this one. Under no circumstances am I condoning violence against women, but the moment that young lady leap-frogged the line, she should’ve known what she was getting into.
