Hillary’s Speaking Fee Was Too Much For This College, So It Blew $65k On Chelsea Clinton

Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton’s speaking fee was too expensive for one college, so they booked her daughter instead — and it was $210,000 cheaper.

The University of Missouri in Kansas City was hosting a women’s luncheon, and considered booking the presidential hopeful as its speaker, but when one of Clinton’s reps said her speaking fee was $275,000, the only reply an official at the school had was, “Yikes!”

Emails sent back and forth between Chelsea’s people and school officials show Clinton’s daughter wanted control over her visit, like editing the introductory remarks that would be made on her behalf and limiting how long she had to be on campus, the Washington Post reports.
