Former Florida State University quarterback De’Andre Johnson — who was cut by the team in the wake of an ongoing assault case — claims that the reason he punched a woman in a Tallahassee bar was racially motivated. One of Johnson’s representatives told TMZ on Tuesday that the woman in question yelled, “get off me, you fucking nigger!” at Johnson before he struck her.

In case you haven’t seen the video — below — Johnson and the victim exchange words prior to the punch, but even if she DID use a racial slur, I don’t think that justifies his actions. I mean, he hit this chick so hard, that I’m pretty sure her descendants are going to born with brain damage.

Side Note — and I’m actually a little surprised no one has brought this up yet — this chick really knows how to take a punch. I mean she gets hit and the shockwave blasts freakin’ cups and bottles off the bar behind her.

That’s a strong jaw.
