Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is tweeting up a storm to express just how fiercely he opposes negotiations with Iran.

On June 30, the original deadline for an agreement to limit Iran’s nuclear capabilities in exchange for the lifting of economic sanctions, Netanyahu posted a 28-second, animated explainer video of how Iran is similar to Islamic State.

Viewers are asked to imagine if Islamic State had armored divisions, fighter jets, ballistic missiles or could build atomic weapons. Then, the narrator claims it isn’t hard to conceive, because the Islamic State of Iran is “like ISIS. Just much bigger.”

On July 8, after negotiators bypassed several deadlines, Netanyahu continued his anti-Iran diatribe. One tweet read: “Iran’s increasing aggression is more dangerous than that of ISIS, and the true goal of this aggression in the end is to take over the world.”

The prime minister criticized Iran for purportedly receiving concessions during negotiations while its citizens prepared the annual, celebratory rejection of Zionism, Israel and the U.S. known as Quds Day. Netanyahu denounced negotiations in an impassioned speech before Congress in March. “It doesn’t block Iran’s path to the bomb; it paves Iran’s path to the bomb,” said the prime minister.

The permanent members of the U.N. Security Council and Germany, known as the P5+1, are conducting negotiations with Iran. Although Israel hasn’t played a role, evidence suggests Israeli spies hacked hotel computers and surveilled discussions.

Diplomats continued marathon negotiations in Vienna Monday.
