The Harry Potter star worked as a receptionist for fashion magazine Nylon for one hour in a video released this morning. His self-admitted ineptitude when it comes to receiving calls and packages combined with his fame throughout the office (and the fact that nobody was told about the British visitor) makes for good comedy.
Radcliffe claims to be “researching for a new role” but a perusal of his IMDB.com page suggests this is not true, and that the situation was put together for the sake of thrilling viewers and employees at Nylon.
In an article about the visit, a Nylon staffer writes “I received no phone calls during that hour, which was strange. And a package that was supposedly delivered to the office for me never made it to my desk.”
All this aside, she sums it up as “‘a really strange, star-studded day.’ And thankfully there is this hidden camera video to prove that it existed. ”
