In what’s most likely the least surprising story of the century, the United States beat France, 82-0, during an International Federation of American Football World Championship semi-final game on Wednesday.
To be honest, I didn’t even know the IFAF was a thing — let alone a legit organization that pits the rest of the world against some of our nation’s best in a sport that no one else on the planet plays… or, at least, plays well — but that doesn’t mean I’m not celebrating the victory.
We’re slated to take on Japan in the Finals, in what’s sure to be a tightly-contested battle.
