“Morning Joe” co-host Mika Brzezinski pulled the plug on a segment discussing comments made by Donald Trump’s spokesman over the legality of “marital rape” during the show’s Wednesday morning broadcast on MSNBC.

The segment began with co-host Joe Scarborough introducing Tim Mak. “Tim, Mika’s not happy. She doesn’t think this is relevant,” Scarborough warned him.

Mak broke the story for the Daily Beast and argued that though Trump’s ex-wife Ivana has defended the 2016 presidential candidate, this story is still “worth looking at” since Trump is currently on top of the GOP polls. Mika, however, didn’t share his sentiment.

“OK, well you guys all let me know when you’re actually going to uncover something new, OK? Tim Mak everybody,” she abruptly said. Scarborough would go on to apologize to the reporter for his co-worker’s behavior. “All right, Tim Mak. We’re going to get you back on another topic. Uh, I just think it’s better for all of us right now. Thank you for coming and slowly step away from this segment.”

It should be noted that Trump himself thanked Brzezinski later that morning.
