NFL training camps kicked off last week, but in this reporter’s eyes, football season officially began on Sunday, when Cowboys superstar wide receiver Dez Bryant and cornerback Tyler Patmon exchanged fisticuffs during a team scrimmage.

Call me old-fashioned, but I 100-percent love this, considering the professional manner in which Bryant and Patmon spoke to the media afterward. Tempers run hot on the grid-iron — especially between opposing positions — and it’s better to get this out of the way before lining up against a division rival.
No harm, no foul.
