Reba McEntire and her husband are separating after 26 years together, the couple announced Monday.
“Despite this being the end of their marriage, they continue to support each other,” the two said in a statement to Big Machine Label Group. “They have worked together for 35 years and will continue to do so. They have asked that you respect their privacy during this time.”
McEntire and Narvel Blackstock have been living separately for several months now, but say they will continue their professional relationship. Blacktsock is her manager. (RELATED: Gwen Stefani Files For Divorce)
During an interview in April, the 60-year-old spoke favorably of her husband.

“He’s in Los Angeles for work, and I’m taking care of business here in Nashville. I miss him when we’re apart. But we never leave each other without a kiss and an ‘I love you,'” McEntire said.
