After touting a morning sickness pill on Instagram, Kim Kardashian now has to answer to the Food and Drug Administration.

The 34-year-old reality star announced she was pregnant with her second child in May, and in July she posted a picture on her Instagram advertising for the morning sickness pill Diclegis.

“[My doctor] prescribed me #Diclegis, I felt a lot better and most importantly, it’s been studied and there was no increased risk to the baby,” Kardashian wrote as the caption.

“I’m so excited and happy with my results that I’m partnering with Duchesnay USA to raise awareness about treating morning sickness.” (RELATED: Kim Kardashian Wants People To Stop Barfing When They See Her Ad)

But Tuesday the FDA posted a warning letter to the reality star telling her to take down the picture because she failed to mention any possible side effects the pill has, which is required for drug advertisements.

“By omitting the risks associated with DICLEGIS, the social media post misleadingly fails to provide material information about the consequences that may result from the use of the drug and suggests that it is safer than has been demonstrated.”

Kardashian has since deleted the post. (RELATED: Kim Kardashian Proves She’s Pregnant With Naked Photo Of Her Pregnant Body)
