Watch out when mama’s mad.

WaPo Pulitzer Prize winning opinion writer Eugene Robinson, a regular face on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” got a spanking Friday when he spent 20 seconds saying things co-host Mika Brzezinski found to be pointless.

The subject matter was Democratic presidential frontrunner Hillary Clinton and those pesky emails, the private server, classified info and what laws — if any — have been broken.

Robinson paused just a minute too long before launching into nothing commentary. He certainly didn’t express the outrage Brzezinski expected, or more like wanted, him to express.

After his soundbite — or his regurgitation of already spewed material — Brzezinski lobbed a hand grenade at him.

“I think you just took 20 seconds to say something we already know,” she snapped at him.

Robinson looked a little stunned, but continued with more standard fare.

Earlier in the week, HuffPost Chief White House correspondent Sam Stein got the brunt of her fury when she thought he wasn’t cutting through the muck as he usually does.

She told him he’s usually able to add a dose of reality, but for whatever reason wasn’t.

She said he was having an off day.

Like Robinson, Stein looked like a scolded child.

But he wore the expression of someone who suspected she might be right.

Stein disputed his state of mind to The Mirror, saying, “No. I was on my A game.” He soon added, “Fine, A-.”

Nobody wins when fighting “Morning Joe’s” mother figure.
