In honor of Jared Fogle’s unceremonious fall from grace, let’s all take a minute to remember that one time in 2007 “then-Senator” Barack Obama hosted the Subway pitchman in his Senate office.

As senator, Obama called SH-713 home all the way through his 2008 presidential victory. The same suite is currently occupied by Ohio’s Sen. Sherrod Brown.

Fogle was on Capitol Hill back in ’07 to lobby on behalf of the Center for Science in the Public Interest. He also met with President Bush during the same trip.
