In poll results released Tuesday by Public Policy Polling, Senator Bernie Sanders is leading Hillary Clinton in New Hampshire with a broad base consisting of younger voters, those who consider themselves very liberal, and even moderates.

While The Washington Post has described Sanders as a “grumpy grandpa,” he is handily leading Clinton 53 percent to 25 with the youngest block of voters 18-45.

The poll doesn’t include Vice President Joe Biden who has recently been leaning towards entering the race, and even received President Obama’s blessing to do so.

Sanders has previously led Clinton in the Granite State in a Franklin Pierce University-Boston Herald poll 44 percent to 37, and these new results from PPP just confirm the popularity of the self-described democratic socialist from Vermont.
