Marvin Sharp, owner of Sharp’s Gymnastics Academy in Indianapolis, Ind. was arrested Sunday night after one of his students raised a charge of child molestation against him.
Though he is currently only facing one charge, WTHR sources believe additional cases may soon come to light. Indiana State Police detectives removed “computers and other electronic devices” from Sharp’s home and gym and are searching for, “what sources describe as child pornography.”
Two of Sharp’s trainees, Bridget sloan and Samantha Peszek, were part of the United States silver medalist team at the Beijing 2008 Summer Olympic Games.
