This week’s female high school teachers busted for allegedly having sex with male teenage students are Brandi Whitaker and Christina Busby.
Whitaker, 24, is a biology — and anatomy — teacher at Madison Southern High School in tiny Berea, Ky., reports area CBS affiliate WKYT.
Police say Whitaker had sex with a 16-year-old male twice during the summer — once inside her home and once at a park.
The married teacher admitted to the two rendezvous with the unidentified teen, police also say.
The high school biology teacher faces charges of first-degree sexual abuse, third-degree rape and third-degree sodomy.
She entered a plea of not guilty in a court hearing on Monday. She was released on bond.
Her husband showed up in court to offer support, the station notes. So did her father.
Whitaker, a graduate of nearby Berea College, taught at Madison Southern High for one full year before the alleged summer fling with her teen paramour.
She is currently suspended with pay from her teaching job “pending the results of the Berea Police investigation and the district’s own internal investigation,” according to a statement obtained by the Lexington Herald-Leader.
Meanwhile, just over 600 miles south in Mobile, Ala., police arrested a private Christian school teacher on allegations that she had sex twice with a 17-year-old male teen who had been a student at the school.
The now ex-teacher in trouble is Christina Busby, reports Mobile CBS affiliate WKRG-TV.

Police arrested Busby, 33, on Tuesday after the male teenager’s mother said she discovered enthusiastic text messages between her son and the teacher.
“There is a very, very thick stack of back and forth texting,” said Mobile County sheriff spokesman Paul Burch told WKRG. “There was some talking leading up to and afterwards and one could read the texts and conclude that something did occur.”
The teen’s parents informed officials at Faith Academy who in turn informed police. The rapid police investigation began on Aug. 22.
The pair of rendezvous occurred in March, police say. The teen is no longer a student at Faith Academy and Busby was not his teacher, investigators also note.
The locales chosen by the star-crossed lovers for their trysts remains unclear. AL.com notes only that they were somewhere in Wilmer, an unincorporated part of Mobile County.
Busby, who taught at Faith Academy for 12 years before she was sacked, faces two counts of engaging in a sex act with a student under the age of 19.
Her bond hearing is expected Thursday.
