Several weeks before Vester Lee Flanagan murdered WDBJ journalists Alison Parker and Adam Ward during a live broadcast in Roanoke, Va., Flanagan had a road rage conflict with Brandon Foster.

Foster and Flanagan both recorded the incident with their cell phones. Foster uploaded the July 6 interaction with Flanagan, who insulted him saying he was driving “like a lunatic at more than 100 mph.”

“Are you finished?” Flanagan asks, as he sees Foster getting out of his car.

“I’ve been finished,” Foster says.

“OK, are you finished?” Flanagan asks again.

“I’ve been finished. You followed me here, asshole,” Foster replies.

Flanagan then says, “OK, you need to lose some weight, sir.”

“Thanks,” Foster responds,”Talk to the mirror.”

Flanagan asks, “Excuse me? Jesus Christ.”

Foster walks away saying, “Call out a guy for driving like a prick and he loses his mind.”

Foster later told CNN that Flanagan was “obviously not in his right mind.” He explained he had “called this man out at a red light for driving like a maniac,” and Flanagan tailed him to his destination.
