In addition to finding more than an ounce of methamphetamine, police discovered a rather unexpected item during a recent drug bust in Waco, Texas.
One of the suspects had a Smith & Wesson .22-caliber semiautomatic handgun … lodged in her vagina.
Sgt. W. Patrick Swanton had pulled over a 1998 Toyota Land Rover around 11:00 p.m. Monday evening. A preliminary search of the vehicle yielded 32.2 grams of methamphetamine and a set of scales, but it wasn’t until she was being transported to jail that 31-year-old Ashley Cecilia Castaneda told officers of her concealed-carry weapon.
Both Castaneda and Gabriel Garcia, who was driving the vehicle, were charged with second-degree felony drug possession. Additionally, Castaneda was charged with unlawfully carrying a weapon.
