Bernie Sanders called the Iraq war “a terrible mistake, one of the worst foreign policy blunders in modern history,” but won’t judge Hillary Clinton or Joe Biden, who voted for the war.
Sanders, appearing on MSNBC’s “Andrea Mitchell Reports” Tuesday, was asked if Hillary Clinton or Joe Biden are at all responsible for the war. Sanders hemmed and hawed but ultimately suggested, “I voted against that war. Others will make a judgment about Hillary Clinton or Joe Biden.”

Bernie Sanders: Well, I don’t want to, look, I think history has indicated that it was a terrible mistake, one of the worst foreign policy blunders in modern history for us to do what we did. It’s led to many of the problems we’re seeing today. I voted against that war. Others will make a judgment about Hillary Clinton or Joe Biden.
