Montreal Canadiens P.K. Subban signed a huge contract last offseason, and it looks like he’ll be putting a portion of his $72 million deal to good use.

On Wednesday, it was announced that Subban had donated $10 million to the Montreal Children’s Hospital, the largest charitable contribution ever given by a Canadian athlete.

Per Yahoo:

The hospital says this is the biggest philanthropic donation ever given by an athlete in Canada. Because of Subban’s generosity, the atrium in the hospital was named after the Habs superstar. He’ll also be a spokesperson for fundraising events by Montreal Children’s Hospital Foundation. The partnership will also see the creation of a fund to help families hurt financially by a child’s illness.

Way to go, PK. You da real MVP.
