A New York man who posted on Twitter “I’m ready to die for the Caliphate, prison is nothing” just may get his wish.

Federal law enforcement arrested Ali Saleh, 22, of Queens Thursday for allegedly attempting to provide material support to Islamic State. That Tweet may now be used against him to get him over 10 years in prison.

Authorities say in the criminal complaint that Saleh tried multiple times to fly overseas to join ISIS and that his social media history clearly demonstrated ISIS sympathies.

Feds say in the criminal complaint that he tweeted phrases such as “Domination of the world by Islam,” “Conquest of the White House” and “Defeat of Occupying Jews.”

“The persistence of Saleh in his alleged attempts to travel overseas in order to ‘die for the Caliphate,’ did not match the dedication of New York’s Joint Terrorism Task Force (JTTF) to work quickly to identify and interrupt this threat,” Assistant Director in Charge Diego Rodriguez said in a statement. “We will continue to be vigilant in our attempts to proactively stop threats before harm can occur.”
