Benen has been notably critical in multiple recent articles of Carly Fiorina‘s statements regarding Planned Parenthood.
At the end of his articles discussing Planned Parenthood, Benen has included a disclosure explaining, “My wife works for Planned Parenthood, but she played no role in this report, and her work is unrelated to the videos Fiorina has tried to describe.”
