One criminal is dead while two more are on the run from authorities after their attempted home invasion was foiled by an armed Texan.
A Houston homeowner, who remains unnamed, was awake early Friday morning when the three potential home invaders rained bullets into the house. KPRC News reports that the homeowner returned fire while trying to protect several people, including young children, that were inside of the house at the time of the attack.
According Houston ABC affiliate KTRK, one suspect later died at the hospital from gunshot wounds.
Nobody in the house sustained injuries, according to the police.
