How dangerous is playing college football? According to ESPN host Joey Galloway, it’s safer than driving on roads with females behind the wheel.

On the Thursday episode of ESPN’s “College Football Live,” the three hosts were discussing the possibility of LSU star Leonard Fournette sitting out next season to avoid injury before he becomes eligible for the 2017 NFL draft. Galloway said sitting out the year was similar to not driving a car out of fear you might get into an accident.

Panelist Trevor Matich shot down the comparison, saying, “When you drive a car, you don’t have SEC defenders diving into your legs 25 times a game.”

Then Galloway replied, “No, you’ve got women driving.”
