NHL Player Suspended For Half The Season After Brutally Vicious Hit [VIDEO]

Raffia Torres of the San Jose Sharks has been suspended from the National Hockey League for 41 games after a brutal hit on opposing player Jakob Silfverberg of the Anaheim Ducks.

He was ejected with 7:15 left in the first period for his hit and Silfverberg was knocked out of the game according to ESPN. It is unclear yet if Torres plans to appeal his suspension.
