Donald Trump says “the last thing we need is another Bush” in the White House.
Appearing on ABC’s “Good Morning America” Wednesday, Trump responded to Bush’s op-ed in National Review from Tuesday, insisting, “Jeb has had a very hard time. He’s way down in the polls. He’s doing very poorly. He’s embarrassed by what’s happening so has to attack me to try to get his numbers up.” (RELATED: Jeb: Trump Is Using Michael Moore’s Attacks)
“And I don’t think it’s going to work,” Trump explained, “but you know the last thing we need is another Bush. We’ve seen what happens and the last thing we need is another Bush.”
“Trump echoes the attacks of Michael Moore and the fringe Left against my brother is yet another example of his dangerous views on national-security issues, that’s a first,” Trump said. “That one hasn’t happened before.”
