The mother of Sean Smith, one of the Americans killed in the Benghazi attack, says she still hasn’t received an answer to how the State Department allowed her son to be “sacrificed” in the 2012 attack.

Appearing on MSNBC’s “Andrea Mitchell Reports” Monday, Patricia Smith also lashed out at Mitchell suggesting, “You can’t understand. You just can’t understand. My only child was murdered and nobody will tell me why.”
“So he was a good guy,” Smith said. “They sacrificed him as they sacrificed the ambassador and the two guys that got murdered because nobody sent help. I want to know why. Why wasn’t there any help?”
“He was the only thing that was going to help me when I get old,” said Smith. “I’m old now. Now who do I — who’s going to help me now? He’s not around and the government won’t talk to me.”
