CNN political commentator Van Jones says that Ben Carson “bewilders, I think most black Democrats.”
Jones, appearing on ABC’s “This Week” Sunday as a panelist, argued, “I mean, he certainly is professionally impressive. Personally, he can be somewhat impressive. Usually politically he’s probably the least impressive on that stage and yet, this morning, he was great.”
Van Jones: What’s so weird is that we’re in this moment where we have a white female who’s a front-runner for the Democrats. We don’t even notice that anymore. We now have an African-American man, front-runner for the Republicans. Ben Carson bewilders, I think most black Democrats. I mean, he certainly is professionally impressive.
