There’s no doubt that Kobe Bryant will go down as one of the greatest players in NBA history.
That being said, the 20-year veteran Black Mamba is obviously a shell of his former self.
Like… not even a 100-year-old tortoise shell. We’re talking about week old peanut casings, littering the floor of your local Logan’s.
On Sunday, Bryant and the Lakers fell 103-93 to Dallas, and Kobe gave reporters a very Kobe-esque break down of his play so far, reports Deadspin.
“I suck right now,” Bryant said of his 3-15 shooting performance. “I’m the 200th-best player in the league right now.”
WATCH:
We all know that you miss 100-percent of the shots you don’t take. That being said, Kobe’s shooting an abysmal 31-percent from the field on the year.
Maybe — and just hear me out now Kobe — if you shot less, then you’d miss fewer baskets.
Food for thought.
