A woman who cared for Bobbi Kristina Brown during her last days was impersonating a nurse and is now facing charges, police say.

Taiwo Sobamowo, 33, impersonated a licensed nurse and cared for Whitney Houston’s daughter at the Peachtree Christian Hospice in Duluth, Ga.

She has been fired and is now facing charges for first-degree forgery, identity fraud and practicing nursing without a license. (RELATED: Medical Examiners Determine Cause Of Death For Bobbi Kristina)

“We had no reason to believe that she was anything other than a good nurse with proper credentials,” the Homestead Hospice CEO Mallie Sharafat wrote in a statement. (RELATED: Whitney Houston’s Daughter Was Supposed To Be In Rehab)

“As soon as the credentialing discrepancy was discovered by one of our employees, we immediately took action and notified the appropriate authorities.”

Sharafat said all staff at the medical facility are now being re-credentialed, and the Associated Press notes that nothing in the police report implies Brown was cared for improperly.
