Donald Trump manually retweeted someone going by the name @AndreaWeslien and a picture they appear to have created showing Jeb Bush in various situations and PhotoShopped scenarios.

One, the picture in the upper right corner, shows Jeb, George W., George H.W. and Prescott Bush along with a swastika.

The picture in the collage appears to be this popular Internet meme.

Here is the original tweet from Tuesday evening:

It repeats a common myth that has been circulating on the Internet for years, the Prescott Bush was a Nazi sympathizer and banker. No credible evidence suggests that he was.

Trump did not respond to anyone who replied on Twitter pointing out his use of a swastika, but he did eventually delete the tweet.

“This was retweeted by Mr. Trump like hundreds of others,” Trump campaign spokesman Hope Hicks, Trump’s campaign spokeswoman told the Washington Post. “He did not see the accompanying image and the retweet has since been deleted.”
