Jimmy Kimmel confronted Hillary Clinton Thursday night over a poll result she was probably not anxious to discuss.

After mocking Republican contender Ben Carson with Clinton over some of the former neurosurgeon’s more avant-garde theories, the host of ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live” pointed to a recent poll that showed Carson dominating the former secretary of state and Democratic presidential front-runner in a one-on-one match-up.

“And yet this poll, this Quinnipiac University poll that they released today said that if you ran against him today he would beat you by 10 percent,” Kimmel noted in near disbelief.

“Well, you know, we’ll just have to wait and see how that turns out,” Clinton carefully responded.

The Quinnipiac poll Kimmel referenced was actually released Wednesday and it showed Carson topping Clinton in a  general election match-up 50 percent to 40 percent.

Kimmel and Clinton also shared a laugh over Jeb Bush’s new campaign slogan, “Jeb Can Fix It.”

“It sounds like he is running a handy man business,” Kimmel joked. “That should be on the side of a van.”

“Well, if I were to advise him, I would say, you know, ‘there’s a lot you can do to try to fix things,’ and maybe they should put a number on the side of the bus to get people to call,” Clinton responded.
