During Fox Business’ Republican presidential primary debate on Tuesday, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie said that the most disturbing thing part about the Democratic Party is that “they’re not standing behind” police officers in this country.

CHRISTIE: The thing that disturbs me the most about the Democratic Party in Washington? That they’re not standing behind our police officers in this country. That they’re allowing lawlessness to reign this country. I spent seven years of my life in law enforcement, and here’s what every law enforcement officer — all 700,000 of them — should know. When President Christie is in the Oval Office, I’ll have your back.
