Donald Trump blasted President Obama, federal prosecutors, the FBI, and the Democrats Thursday for protecting Hillary Clinton from getting arrested for her use of a private email server while secretary of State.
Appearing on Fox Business Network’s “Mornings With Maria Bartiromo,” Trump argued, “Many people in jail right now for doing five percent what she did.”
Trump was asked to comment on the expanding FBI investigation into Clinton and he said, “Well, I have a lot of thoughts I think she is being protected by the Democrats.”
“She is being protected by Democrats, by the prosecutors, and possibly by the FBI. That is just not what I hear about them, I am so disappointed in them.”
“What she did is a crime,” Trump said. “She broke the law one hundred percent, in many different ways, she broke the law, she is protected one hundred percent by prosecutors, and probably almost definitely by the president. He said, ‘Don’t prosecute her.’ And that is what happened.”
