For the first time ever in Barbie’s 56 years of selling dolls, a little boy was featured in a TV ad raving about his love for the fashionable toy, according to the New York Post.

In the 30-second advertisement that was released at the beginning of November, a young boy with a very trendy haircut tells viewers Mattel’s newest Barbie — called “Moschino Barbie” — is a great toy for both boys and girls.

“Moschino Barbie is so fierce!” he enthusiastically says. (RELATED: San Francisco Elementary School Switches To Gender-Neutral Bathrooms For Little Kids)

The boy is accompanied in the promo by two little girls who also beam to the camera about their love for the leather-clad Barbie while playing with the toy in a pink doll house.

The New York Post reported on Monday that this is the latest stunt by companies and stores to make toys gender-neutral.
