Honduran officials on Tuesday detained a group of Syrian refugees planning on entering the United States.

The five Syrian men were held in Honduras’s capital Tegucigalpa after authorities discovered they were carrying stolen, Greek passports.

According to police, the passport photos had been replaced with photographs of the detained Syrians, Reuters reports.

Additionally, the men confessed that they planned to cross into Guatemala from Honduras, then Mexico and eventually enter America at its southern border.

There are currently “no signs of any links” to last week’s terror attacks in Paris.

This is a developing story. Check back for updates.
