The New Hampshire newspaper The Union Leader’s publisher Joe McQuaid told Jeb Bush “who knows if you are going to be in” the next CNN debate.

In a video obtained by The Daily Caller, McQuaid explained that he had a “couple of question areas” and wondered if Bush had “heard anything about CNN’s criteria for getting into a debate in December?”

Bush responded, “They haven’t had, I actually, yesterday I think I was, Tim Miller told me they hadn’t created it yet. Had you heard it?”

McQuaid replied, “No, I’m very interested in it and so are the people of New Hampshire because so far the process has… kept some people out and some people in and who knows if you are going to be in.”

While CNN has not publicly released the debate criteria, recent polls show Bush hovering in the single digits. A New Hampshire WBUR poll has Bush in fifth place with seven percent of the vote. A Tampa Bay Times poll has Bush in fifth place in his home state of Florida with nine percent. In Colorado, Bush is in sixth place with two percent according to the Quinnipiac University poll. The Fairleigh Dickenson University poll has Bush in fifth place in New Jersey with five percent and the Marquette University poll indicates Bush is polling at six percent. In Massachusetts, Bush is in seventh place polling at three percent according to the UMass poll.

Donald Trump is still polling in first place in New Hampshire, Florida, New Jersey, and Massachusetts. Ben Carson is polling in second in New Hampshire, Massachusetts, leading in Colorado, and in third in New Jersey. Carson is in six in Connecticut behind Bush.

[crscore]Marco Rubio[/crscore] is polling in second in New Hampshire, Florida, Colorado, New Jersey, and Connecticut.

All of these polls were published November 17 through November 19.
