A Rasmussen poll released Friday blasts President Barack Obama and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton for their refusal to say the U.S. is at war with radical Islamic terrorists. It concludes the majority of American voters believe Clinton and Obama are dead wrong.

President Obama, Hillary Clinton and other senior Democrats refuse to say America is at war with ‘radical Islamic terrorism’ for fear of insulting all Muslims, but voters beg to disagree,” Rasmussen writes.

The poll shows that 60 percent of likely U.S. voters believe the U.S. is at war with “radical Islamic terrorism,” while only 24 percent disagree and 16 percent are undecided.

Notably, 92 percent of voters see radical Islamic terrorism as a “serious threat” and 73 percent call it a “very serious” threat, up 23 percent since October of last year.

The poll reports that despite Obama and Clinton’s position, 56 percent of Democrats believe the U.S. is at war with radical Islamic terrorism. The subject was thrown into the spotlight after ISIS fighters massacred 130 people in Paris last week.

“Islam is not our adversary,” Clinton said at an address Thursday. “Muslims are peaceful and tolerant people and have nothing whatsoever to do with terrorism.”

Republican presidential candidate Marco Rubio has lambasted Clinton for her stance, saying her hesitancy to call out radical Islam is “like saying we weren’t at war with Nazis, because we were afraid to offend some Germans who may have been members of the Nazi Party but weren’t violent themselves.”

Obama explained why he doesn’t use the term radical Islam earlier this year.

“They are not religious leaders; they are terrorists,” Obama said at a White House event on countering violent extremism. “We are not at war with Islam. We are at war with people who have perverted Islam. They no more represent Islam than any madman who kills in the name of Christianity or Judaism or Buddhism or Hinduism. No religion is responsible for terrorism. People are responsible for violence and terrorism.”
