A New Hampshire man is the leader of a child sex tourism ring based in Peru according to a joint investigation by U.S. and Peruvian authorities. Of the 36 individuals rescued from captivity, 11 are underage and one is four years old.

Joshua David Brown, 64, has five Peruvian accomplices. Brown, known as “La Bestia,” or “The Beast,” acted as the link to wealthy perverted foreigners interested in molesting children. The starting price to abuse a child is $500. Brown charged clients $7,000 to molest the four year old.

One of Brown’s accomplices alleges Brown murdered two girls under the age of 10 and disposed of their bodies. He was arrested in La Molina, a ritzy suburb of Peru’s capital city, Lima.

The sex ring also has an online presence and authorities seized large amounts of child pornography. Among Brown’s associates are young Peruvian women who preyed on young, poor children from rural parts of Peru.

The investigation is led by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement along with Peruvian National Police. It is not yet certain if U.S. authorities will present charges against Brown separately which will force him to stand trial in the U.S. Peruvian authorities will hold a press conference Wednesday revealing more details regarding the outcome of their investigation so far.
