Ohio State head coach Urban Meyer suspended star defensive tackle Adolphus Washington Thursday after he was arrested for prostitute solicitation, the Columbus Dispatch reports.

According to the Dispatch’s Tim May, Washington will not suit up against Notre Dame in the Fiesta Bowl on Jan. 1, and he issued the following apology through ESPN’s Austin Ward.

Washington was among college football’s top defensive tackles in 2015. The senior was expected to be a first-round draft pick in next year’s NFL Draft.
