According to Nielsen Media Research, Fox Business Network is finishing 2015 as the fastest growing television network in all of cable.

For FBN, 2015 was their highest rated year in Total Day, Business Day and Prime Time viewership since the network was launched in 2007. Every single program that aired on FBN saw year-to-year growth.

FBN’s most successful broadcast ever was the November 10, 2015 Republican Presidential Primary debate in which 13.5 million people watched, including 3.7 million people in the prized 25-54 demographic.

Fox News and Fox Business Network Chairman & CEO Roger Ailes said in a statement, “Once we hit the 80 million distribution mark this year, I knew viewers would begin to see what I’ve known all along — we have the best anchors, hosts and reporters in financial news who out-perform CNBC every day and deliver the most compelling business programming on television.”

Since June 1, 2015 when FBN’s global markets editor Maria Bartiromo took over the highly coveted pre-market open timeslot, FBN day ratings increased 56 percent in total viewers, with 95,000 for the second half of the year.

“Morning with Maria” saw a 29 percent improvement from “Imus in the Morning,” the show that occupied that time slot previously, in the 25-54 demographic.

“Lou Dobbs Tonight” finished 2015 up 47 percent in total viewership and as well as up 38 percent in the 25-54 demographic.

Overall, FBN’s Total Day performance was 49 percent higher in total viewers and 75 percent higher in the 25-54 demo compared to 2014.
