British billionaire Sir Richard Branson insists that some of Donald Trump’s statements are “slightly frightening” and if he “really believes them he shouldn’t be in the White House.”

Appearing on “MSNBC Live” with Kate Snow on Monday, Branson suggested it is “worrying” if Trump “believes half the statements he makes.” (RELATED: Trump Calls For Moratorium On Muslims Entering United States)

The founder of The Virgin Group said that he has met Trump, but added, “I wouldn’t say I know him enormously well.”

Snow asked Branson to comment on Trump, who at first suggested, “I’ve always tried to avoid getting involved in party politics… some of his statements are slightly frightening… and worrying.”

If Trump “really believes them, he shouldn’t be in the White House,” because they are “completely preposterous and very dangerous and, potentially very damaging.”
