Donald Trump played nice with Sen. [crscore]Ted Cruz[/crscore] during the debate and suggested that Cruz has “a wonderful temperament.”

Tuesday, during the CNN GOP debate, Cruz was pressed about his comments relating to his questioning of Trump’s “judgment” and Cruz suggested, “Who has the judgment to be commander in chief, that is the most important decision for the voters to make, that’s a standard I’m held to and that is a standard everyone else is held to.”

In the Trump vs. Cruz war of words, Trump who suggested that Cruz was a “maniac” last Sunday now suggested during the debate, “I have gotten to know him [Cruz] over the last three or four days, he has a wonderful temperament. He’s just fine. Don’t worry about it.”

When panelist Dana Bash turned to Cruz to question him about his comments, Trump joked to Cruz, “You better not attack [me].”

Cruz stood by his statement and said, “What I said in private, is exactly what I’ll say here, which is that the judgement that every voter is making of every one of us up here is who has the experience, who has the vision.” The “judgment to be commander in chief” is “the most important decision for the voters to make, that’s a standard I’m held to and that is a standard everyone else is held to.”

The Texas senator later explained, “I can tell you all nine of the people here would make an infinitely better commander-in-chief than Barack Obama or Hillary Clinton.”
