Illinois Rep. [crscore]Adam Kinzinger[/crscore] slammed President Barack Obama’s Oval Office address, saying, “This is the only president I’ve ever seen give an Oval Office address and come out worse on the other side.”
Appearing on Fox News’s “America’s Newsroom” on Thursday, Kinzinger called for Obama to “do a redo on that. Tell American people he’s gonna keep them safe at home — here’s how. “This is very serious issue,” Kinzinger said. “We have to figure out, are we using 21st century tools to fight this 21st century terrorism.”
“Look we’re going to fight terrorists. This is a fact. Now, the question is, do we fight them here or do we fight them overseas? And I think over there is the best, but we have to be prepared here,” he insisted.
A pilot in the Illinois Air National Guard, Kinzinger argued that the Obama administration “And unfortunately, the administration, they may be doing some things, but they have not given the American people the confidence that they’re doing everything to keep us safe.”
“It’s time that the administration wake up. This is the only president I’ve ever seen give an Oval Office address and come out worse on the other side.”
