Charles Krauthammer ripped into Donald Trump’s campaign for president insisting, “It’s a promise of success without any explanation of how.”

Appearing on Fox News’s “Special Report” on Tuesday, Krauthammer criticized Trump for saying, “‘We’re not winning. We’re not winning against ISIS, not winning on the border, we’re not winning on the economy. I will win, I’m a winner.’ But he never actually says, how are we going to do ISIS.” (RELATED: Krauthammer: Trump Attacking Hillary Really ‘About Rising Above The Other Candidates’ [VIDEO])

In a mocking tone, Krauthammer mentioned Trump’s claim that he doesn’t divulge his plans to defeat ISIS etc, because “‘You don’t want to tell the enemy what your strategy is going to be.'”

Referring to Trump’s plan to fix Obamacare, where Trump has said, “We’re going to get rid of Obamacare. We’re going to replace it with something really terrific,” Krauthammer prodded, “Now why didn’t we think about that as a solution?”

“You can’t ask [Trump] what exactly will be in this really terrific alternative because he doesn’t know. I don’t know whether his staff has prepared a paper on that,” Krauthammer insisted. “But the premise of the campaign — ‘I’m a winner, you give me any issue, I’ll be so good. To the economy, I’ll be the biggest jobs creator that God has ever created, et cetera, et cetera.’ It’s a promise of success without any explanation of how. Now that defies the laws of political gravity. But it obviously is working.”
