Hillary Clinton supporter — and former South Carolina state congressman — Bakari Sellers outlined a simple New Year’s resolution for the Democratic presidential front-runner on CNN Sunday: “no more pandering to specific groups.”
“Please no more, ‘Hillary es mi abuela.’ No more ‘Happy Kwanza’ avis. No more Rosa Parks avis,” Sellers told guest-host Dana Bash. “Be organic in your thoughts. No more pandering.”
“That’s for Hillary Clinton?” asked Bash. “Wow. That’s pretty — I mean as a Hillary Clinton supporter that’s tough.”
“Some of those things were pretty overt,” noted Sellers.
