Donald Trump Jr. said that his father, Donald J. Trump, is “a blue-collar guy with a big balance sheet.”
Appearing on Fox News’s “Hannity” on Wednesday night, Trump Jr. was asked to share a side of his dad that the general public may not pick up on and Trump Jr. claimed his dad “knows more about sports than any human being out there.”
“I think a lot of people see obviously the business side of him, but I mean, he’s just a great guy,” Trump Jr. said. “We enjoyed the holidays so much. To be able to spend time with him when he’s not necessarily working or not doing the political thing. I mean, he’s much more of a blue-collar American. I mean, I say that in jest a little bit, but he is a blue-collar guy with a big balance sheet.”
“That’s the way he likes to have fun. He knows more about sports than any human being out there. He relaxes. The ribbing that we give each other at the Christmas holidays is incredible,” Trump Jr. shared. “And I mean, he’s much more of an ordinary American and a proper American than a lot of people would probably ever believe.”
