A “very, very bold” young woman has reportedly committed a string of high-end robberies in several states across the South, NBC News reports.
Not only has the brazen bandit made off with millions of dollars in luxury jewelry, she’s done so without bothering to cover her face at all.
According to NBC News, “the woman cases a store, then comes back the next day and casually chats with workers about an item. Suddenly, she whips a gun out of her purse and forces the employees to a back room — where she steals their keys and uses zip-ties to secure them.”
“Usually you have a gang of males go in — occasionally they’ll be accompanied by a female — but to have a lone female go in is extraordinarily rare,” F.B.I. Special Agent Lawrence Borghini told NBC.
The F.B.I. has placed $10,000 reward on the mysterious thief.
