South Carolina Sen. [crscore]Lindsey Graham[/crscore] will announce Friday he plans to endorse Jeb Bush for president, CNN reports.
Graham will reportedly make his announcement at 9:45 a.m. ET from a Charleston, S.C. hotel.
Bush told Fox News Friday that Graham’s endorsement is “very meaningful, and along with it come a lot of friends and supporters of his. So I’m excited about it.”
Graham was polling at 1 percent before he dropped out of the race in December, but a Bush aide told The Washington Post his organization in South Carolina could make a difference. “It expands our statewide network of grassroots and grass tops across the state in terms of organizing and fundraising.”
